A very quick, very stupid, commercial I made with a friend junior year of high school to promote a music festival one of our clubs was putting on.

A cartoon I was required to make in my high school film class. Me and my partner just kind of made it our mission to make it as ridiculous as possible with the least amount of work :P

Guitar Hero: The Rise and Fall of Kent Spalding
A mocumentary of training for the Guitar Hero World Championships I made senior year of high school after my serious documentary about urban street art was destroyed.
Dreams in a Box/The Girl in the Box
A short film I made senior year of high school about a woman remembering her dreams of being a dancer. This one actually won 5th place in Houston’s Culture Shapers Festival under the Short Film category.
99 Red Balloons
My last film project senior year of high school. Because of copyright issues I wasn’t allowed to submit it into any festivals but it was voted best in class by my teachers and peers. The song is “99 Red Balloons” as covered by Goldfinger.
Collection
Short film I made senior year with a couple of kids in my film class for a 24 hour film festival that made us incorporate different lines/settings. For this it was: Parkbench, Robert Darjeeling, Birdcage, and “Don’t Tempt Me”. It’s a silly movie and we ran into a billion technical problems but after making this, everything going wrong, and not even getting it in on time, I still wanted to make movies so I guess it’s what made me realize what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Hang You From The Heavens
A snippet of a song I made into a music video sophomore year of college, just cause I was bored and wanted to play with my editing software. Music is “Hang You From The Heavens” by The Dead Weather. Footage is from the movie Factory Girl.
Change
My first official college film. It’s all in a single take and is just money being passed around a group of people and coming full circle. Because the project was supposed to be about visual editing I didn’t get a very good score. However, absolutely every sound you hear in this was added later in post. I think there were about 40-something different layers of audio when I was done with it.
The Follower
My first film from this semester (fall 2011). For my chase scene project. A man is being stalked by a demon and his thoughts. Honestly, I believe I let my partner take too much creative control on this one and my grade suffered for it. I did all of the editing but the concept and cinematography was done by me for the indoor scene at the end.
Road Games
A small clip from the short film Road Games that I worked on with several other students for a 48 hour film festival. Unfortunately this is all that I got through editing before rebooting my computer and losing the rest of the footage. There is no audio in this copy.
Z-TV: The Dead Never Sleep
A stop motion I made one night when I was bored and couldn’t sleep. I ended up using it as the opening sequence for a TV show I’m producing in one of my classes.
